Hello and happy new week to you (a day late, I know). I am spending time away from the computer at the moment because I have a bad back. I’ve started seeing a chiropractor, which I think is helping, but I really don’t know what to do with myself! I have sooo much work to do as well. What a nuisance. Last night the only movement that soothed my back was shuffling up and down the room. Dan said I looked like a Thunderbird! I am extremely freaked out by the Thunderbirds, so this was not good! Hmph!
Aaaanyway, back to Copenhagen - It was a bit of a walk from where we were staying, but we had a very tasty breakfast at Granola - heightened by the fact that Bertie was having a nap, so the three of us were able to enjoy our food without interruptions (it’s ok, we bought him a bagel once he woke up - he doesn’t miss out). It was a little chilly, but the sun came out to join us. I always enjoy a bit of people watching, so this was an ideal opportunity. Can anyone tell me why a lot of the Danish youth were wearing sailor hats? Was it a finishing school thing? We were intrigued.
The only disappointing thing about this breakfast was that I had hoped to call into a couple of shops on this street - one of them being Playtype, but nothing opened until 12pm and we had a train to catch. Boo.
Do you see in the second picture that even Bertie’s buggy snuggle has triangles on it? Taking it a bit too far? Can’t help it!
Have a splendid day :)
